Nestled in the heart of Tournai at Grand'Place 68, Les 4 Saisons is a charming café that encapsulates the essence of a traditional "brasserie tournaisienne." As you step inside, you are welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of times gone by. The décor exudes character, transporting you to a space where relaxation and enjoyment are paramount.

The café prides itself on serving cuisine that reflects local flavors and culture. Popular offerings include delicious croquettes, hearty salads, and an omelette that many customers quite literally rave about. One visitor, Gert Tetteroo, celebrated the lunch experience, proclaiming the dishes as delightful, along with the indulgent desserts that are simply impossible to resist—though he playfully warns to “forget any diet for an hour or so!”

The ambiance is further enhanced by the attentive service provided by staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. J-Luc Dum aptly captures this sentiment, highlighting the vibrant atmosphere and the charm of the café, making it a worthy stop for any visitor. Meanwhile, the local beer selection offers a taste of the region’s brews, with friendly staff like the lively young lady mentioned by Bogoo, who adds a vibrant energy to the café.

For those seeking a comfortable place to unwind, Les 4 Saisons has cultivated a community feeling, where guests often engage with each other—the perfect environment for making new friends. Alain Langer describes this social aspect beautifully, noting that the inviting space encourages camaraderie among patrons at adjacent tables.

Whether you’re in the mood for a cozy lunch, an afternoon coffee break, or a chance to savor some local cuisine, Les 4 Saisons is the ideal spot to indulge in the rich flavors of Tournai. So, why not pay a visit? With so much to offer, it’s a delightful blend of good food, friendly faces, and local culture that you won't want to miss.

A recommander.

We had a very good lunch here - croquettes and salads and a sublime omelette. The deserts are even better - but forget any diet for an hour or so. Location is the best in Doornik, in the shade, and you always hope for the nice, attentive and warm service by a very nice lady (may be the owner?). Six stars!
